Total Money raised $4844 dollars + more from the winner of the 50/50 pot.

This includes  $200 from  2-pats and our half of the 50 50 pot which was $377.

there will be a little more I understand mike the 50/50 pot winner is going to give half back...thank you CRC member Mac Mcintyre!

I want to thank everybody that helped with the show, also everybody that showed up for the show. Without you there would be no show and we appreciate it. The CRC took this show over about 5 years ago when the attendance had dropped to 40 entries and the future of the show was in trouble........and this year we had about 165 entries, a new record for the 20 years the show has been running.

We added significantly to the donations of the VETERAN RECREATION FUND this past Saturday as a record breaking 165 classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles showed up for the 20th annual Norman Veteran Center show. We use the Veteran Center facilities, the CRC operates the show, however the veterans are the beneficiary as we donated almost $5000.00 this Saturday. Most of the donation money comes from your 165vehiclesX$25 registration fee, and some comes from individual additional donations, some comes from 2PATs catering, (a Veteran owned business) with a husband and wife cooking team that has done this for years! The weather was "GOLDILOCKS".....not to hot and not too cold, but just right.....and everyone was completely entertained by the amazing dance routines of the Moore ladies known as the CALAMITY JANE CLOGGERS!  Fantastic fun for everyone. Thanks to the crack CRC car show team for making the registration, judging, and trophy system very easy. The CRC will do another benefit show next Saturday which will also raise money for the Veterans...the OLD TOWN MOORE show, in it's second year. Plan to come to that also.

Money received from the Veteran Center show is channeled to various Veterans in Oklahoma who have no known family members and reside in the Oklahoma Veteran Centers. Celebrating Christmas and birthdays for the Veterans are good examples of how these funds are spent. The purpose of this show is for the Veterans who are essentially homebound in the Norman VeteransCenter, to get out and see the cars and enjoy the day outside.
