Dan's Old Time Dinner. Located at about 82nd street and South Western. Dan's is a fairly large place but it will do you know good you won't escape the aroma. Get the onion burger and a half order of fries. It is very good and loaded with onions.
Sid's Dinner located in Yukon at the S.E. corner of 39th street and Highway 4. If you go west on I 40 exit at Check Hall Road. Go North to 39th street. Right there you will find Sid's. He has 12 barstools and about 6 tables and does not serve anything that hasn't been fried. It's pretty good stuff. If you are lucky you will find a real Elvis there. Yes I said Elvis. Right behind the counter singin "You Ain't Nothin but a Houndog" or some other great hit. In any case Sid's is a great experience along with his clientele.
Remember no good clothes are to be worn and expect to have your hair smell until it is washed.
