On Friday night, March 12th, 2010, the club has agreed to help the Pioneer Library create a mood for their 2010 "BIG READ"...The Maltese Falcon. We are looking for volunteers to drive their 1910's to 1940's vintage vehicles into downtown Norman, and to park them in different spots around the city, primarily at the RR Depot, and at The Crucible , maybe a few more spots if we have enough- during the art walk hours (6pm to 9pm). If you are interested in having your car participate in this civic activity, please email david1saunders@aol.com and we will put your car on the list. We'll get together for dinner somwhere in downtown Norman as well as do the art walk....p.s. you don't have to put a car in this event to go to the club dinner or do the art walk.....the more the merrier.
